Abstract

Incidental durotomy is a potential complication encountered in pediatric spine surgery. Direct dural repair is technically challenging and thus is often performed by the senior surgeon. The dural repair simulation represents a low-cost but high-fidelity method of teaching and practicing dural repair for trainees and junior surgeons.
